some problems with the Asian intervention card

Thu May 02, 2019 2:02 am

Some of the consulate allies' sent units via the Intervention shipment still doesn't reflect the recent consulate rework:
-German allies still ships Zweihanders instead of Czapka Uhlans
-Ottoman allies still ships Gardener Hussars instead of Abus Guns
-French allies still ships Young Guard Grenadiers instead of Grognards
-British allies still ships Redcoats instead of Highlanders

  • From the latest changelog:
  • British Expeditionary Company: delivers 5 Highlanders instead of 6 Redcoats;
  • British Expeditionary Force: delivers 5 Highlanders and 5 Royal Marines instead of 8 Redcoats and 1 Falconet;
  • British Expeditionary Army: delivers 10 Royal Marines and 2 Rockets instead of 6 Life Guards and 3 Falconets;
  • British Brigade: delivers 13 Highlanders, 7 Scots Greys and 2 Rockets instead of 16 Roger’s Rangers and 5 Falconets.
    They no longer do as of 1.0.11.

Im sorry, but my latest ( 1.0.11A ) sais :
"
Consulate
  • The Consulate version of the British Redcoat no longer has less hitpoints than its regular counterpart, and the effect of its hitpoint increase aura for each nearby Consulate Redcoat was decreased from 3% to 2%.. "
    Nothing about them sending Highlanders.

QueenOfYays is correct. The British consulate option for Asian civs now sends Highlanders instead of Redcoats. The consulate version of the Redcoat is still available to the Zulu through the Spice Shop, however. The reason for this is that consulate armies ignore build limits, so if you chose British as a consulate ally you could theoretically go over the Redcoat's 50 unit limit and make them super powerful.

As for new effects for the Intervention card reflecting the changes to the consulate, it was coded but not properly implemented, which is why it's not working. It should be fixed in the next patch.
