Portuguese Atiradors

Sup guys,
y'all don't think the new Atiradors are a bit too much powerful? When it comes to playing AI, I like a challenge, but the atiradors are able to melt away any infantry really fast, and can also kill artillery. Sure hand cavalry can deal with them, but they can deal with anything else with relative ease. Part of the problem is the 'counter infantry rifling' tech: without it they do 1.8 damage against heavy inf., which is tolerable, but with it they do 7.8 against heavy inf. They tend to oneshot most infantries. Range 30, shoot as fast as musketeers, resist 60% ranged damage, take 1 pop, kinda low price. What's the purpose of Cassadors at this point?

Is there a civilization unable to actually deal with it, or is the problem that a unit is made entirely obsolete because of it?

I agree Lt.Duncker they are too much to deal with after patch 10.0a.
