That's right, in preparation for a tournament announcement this week, we've dropped a surprise hotfix to help fix some of the annoying bugs leftover in the Coldfix! Most importantly, all civs now work fully in ESO except for the Romanians, who still have some cards bugged. To update, simply run your Updater or download the Manual Update!

1.0.9e Changelog
GENERAL
  • The bug that made Covered Wagons invisible for the Anglophone and Latin American cultures has been fixed.
  • Llama train time reduced from 60 seconds to 15 seconds.
  • Anglophone Barns, Japanese Shrines, Native Farms and the Argentine Estancia should be finally able to attract nearby herdables.
  • The following buildings were removed from the mod (name in the Editor first, protounit name inside brackets):
    • "Artillery Foundry Undeleteable" (WOLArtilleryFoundryUndeleteable), replaced by "Artillery Foundry Greek" (WOLArtilleryFoundryGreek) and "Artillery Foundry Iroquois" (WOLArtilleryFoundryIroquois);
    • "Market Undeleteable" (WOLMarketUndeleteable", replaced by "Market Greek" (WOLMarketGreek) and "Market Iroquois" (WOLMarketIroquois);
    • "Safehouse Undeleteable" (WOLSafehouseUndeleteable), replaced by "Safehouse Greek" (WOLSafehouseGreek) and "Safehouse Iroquois" (WOLSafehouseIroquois).
  • The bug that prevented the American Gatling Gun and the Revolutionary Maxim Gun from showing up has been fixed.
  • The bug that made cards of various civs vanish from decks on ESO has been fixed (the Romanians are an exception for now).
  • Argentineans, Bulgarians, Ethiopians, Greeks, Paraguayans, Serbians and the Zulu civilizations now have proper starting decks.

AFRICANS
  • The bug that made the Egyptian Fellah and Naffatun use Camel sounds when attacked has been fixed.
  • The bug that made Egyptian Villagers unable to speak when tasked to move, to gather resources or ordered to attack has been fixed.
  • The bug that made the Zulu Firebrand only show its fire stick after researching the "Bull Horn" improvement at the Library has been fixed.
  • The Egyptian Palace Caravan is now able to attack enemy units, buildings and ships, and can now garrison villagers and healers.
  • The Camel Rider now deals x0.7 bonus damage against heavy infantry units instead of x0.5.
  • The Egyptian card "Urabi Revolt" has been moved to Age IV and now decreases the Export cost of Mamluks and Mountain Guns by 10% instead of transforming Fellahs into Naffatuns.
  • The Ethiopian card "Ethiopian Star" now transforms Camel Riders into Oromo Horsemen instead of transforming Assegais into Oromo Horsemen.
  • The build limit of Lots now increase by +10 every Age Up, for a total of 47 Lots by Age V.

ANGLOPHONES
  • The Anglophone Factory Wagon is now called "Industry Wagon".
  • The American Entrepreneur now has a proper icon and portrait.
  • The Canadian improvement "Great Western Railway" now properly reduces the cost of Trade Route upgrades on Asian Random Maps.

ASIANS
  • The Chinese Long Dragon now gets +7 line of sight both at Age III and Age IV.
  • Docks of Asian civs now have a build limit of 2. This limit can be increased by +1 after sending the "Admiralty" card.
  • The Japanese are no longer able to train Tekkousens.
  • The Japanese Joukisen now uses the Tekkousen voiceset when selected, tasked to move or ordered to attack.

BALKANS
  • The Greek cards "7 Chorofylakes" and "8 Chorofylakes" can now be sent at Age III instead of Age IV.
  • Changed the description of the "TEAM Ecclesia" to mention that Aging Up is done faster instead of being made cheaper, as originally intended.
  • The Boyar now counts as a light cavalry unit instead of a heavy cavalry unit.
  • The Bulgarian Spasitel now counts as a light cavalry unit.

EUROPEANS
  • The bug that made the Portuguese card "5 Atiradores" unable to be delivered has been fixed.
  • Italian Architects no longer counts as villagers, but they can still garrison on buildings (and are affected by Town Bell), gather resources from crates and pray at the Basilica and can now also claim Treasures.
  • Removed the mentions of the Equestrian Statue and Fountain from the Town Wagon’s description.
  • The bug that prevented the aura enabled by the Italian card "Drama" from making enemy villagers gather 1% slower for each Merchant on the map has been fixed.
  • The Maltese card "20 Ranseurs" now properly displays that it sends 20 units instead of 10.
  • Some changes on the cards available to the Italians:
    • The Italians now have access to the following cards: "Fencing School" and "Industrial Revolution".
    • The card "8 Bersaglieri" was renamed to "6 Bersaglieri" and can now be sent at Age II.
    • The cards "Gondola" and "Mare Nostrum" changed places on the Italian Home City. The former is now located at the Manufacturing Plant and requires the card "Schooners" to be unlocked, while the latter was moved to the Harbor and now requires the card "3 Galleys" to be unlocked. Their HC level requirements were not changed.
  • Some changes on the British unique units:
    • The Green Jacket now takes 2 seconds to reload after attacking at range instead of 3 seconds.The Scots Grey no longer counts as a hand cavalry unit (but still attack at melee) stats-wise.The Highlander hitpoints decreased from 200 to 190, cost increased from 60 Food to 65 Food (the Coin cost of 60 was unchanged) and now occupies 1 population space instead of 2.
  • The Habsburg Grenzer’s armor against ranged attack was decreased from 50% to 30%.
  • The German Krupp Factory is now limited to a build limit of 1 at Age II (when the building becomes available), and its build limit increases by 1 at Age III only (for a total of 2 Krupp Factories, instead of +1 to Krupp Factory’s build limit per Age up).

LATIN AMERICANS
  • The bug that prevented the Colombian Market from spawning 4 Guerrilla Infantry has been fixed.
  • The Paraguayan Works (Food Works, Wood Works, Gold Works and Heavy Works) now start occupying population space once their foundations are placed on ground.
  • The Argentine Montonera and the Colombian Llanero now speak in Spanish no matter which civilization is controlling these units.
  • The bug that made the Chilean "The Criollo" Politician display that he sends 13 Soldaderas instead of 12 Escopeteros has been fixed.
  • The Brazilian card "24 Pikemen" (unlocked at HC level 10) has been replaced by a card that delivers 20 Pikemen.
  • The bug that prevented the Paraguayan Explorer from healing friendly units after sending the card "Botanica" has been fixed.
  • The Peruvian Town Center now has proper random names.
  • Fishing Boats of this culture should be able to build Fisheries again.

NORTH AMERICAN NATIVES
  • Fixed the bug that prevented the Iroquois Market from spawning 4 Deers.
  • Fixed the bug that prevented the card "Extensive Fortifications" from increasing the hitpoints and build limit of the Iroquois War Hut.

SOUTH AMERICAN NATIVES
  • The bug that prevented the new texture for Inca villagers from showing up has been fixed.
  • The bug that prevented the Inca and Mapuche Covered Wagon from using Llama noises when selected, tasked to move or when attacked has been fixed.
  • The Tupi version of the "Iron Horse", "Gill Nets" and "Long Lines" techs had their Coin costs replaced with Food:
  • "Iron Horse" now costs 400 Food and 300 Wood instead of 300 Wood and 400 Coin;
  • "Gill Nets" now costs 90 Food and 90 Wood instead of 90 Wood and 90 Coin;
  • "Long Lines" now costs 200 Food and 200 Wood instead of 200 Wood and 200 Coin.

MERCENARIES
  • In preparations for Patch 1.0.10, the Haitian Caco mercenary has been replaced by the Jamaican Black Shot. The unit stats for the latter are the same.
  • The Patangpuluhan now uses a Malay voiceset when selected, tasked to move and ordered to attack (voiceset taken from Pepp's Struggle of Indonesia mod under authorization; be sure to check his mod!).

NATIVES
  • The Aymara Bola Rider now has a proper icon and portrait.
  • The Order of Christ improvement "Milites Christi" now also decreases Export costs by 5%.

RANDOM MAPS
  • All the broken or obsolete random maps have been removed.
    List of Removed Random Maps
    All random maps available up to Patch 1.0.9d were tested five times. All of them that failed to load, spawn one of the players or resources at least once during the tests or were made obsolete by newer maps are present on this list.
    • Name: Acropolis
      Files: acropolis_aoe3.xml, acropolis_aoe3.xs.
      Reason for removal: fails to spawn players. No features except flat terrains separated by a rugged valley and two clusters of Deers.
    • Name: Alfheim
      Files: alfheim_aoe3.xml, alfheim_aoe3.xs.
      Reason for removal: fails to load.
    • Name: Alps
      Files: aWOLalps.xml, aWOLalps.xs.
      Reason for removal: fails to load.
    • Name: Anatolia
      Files: anatolia.xml, anatolia.xs.
      Reason for removal: sometimes does not spawn the player.
    • Name: Asuncion
      Files: urban.xml, urban.xs.
      Reason for removal: obsolete.
    • Name: Atlantic

      Reason for removal: sometimes fails to spawn either one of the player or both.

  • Occultists guarding Treasures no longer leave their positions to condemn passing non-Mother Nature-controlled units.
  • The bug that prevented Outlaw Hoop Throwers from attacking enemy units at range has been fixed.

RELIGION
  • The bug that made North American Native Totems trickle Faith before choosing a Religion has been fixed.
1.0.9f Changelog
GENERAL
  • Due to a mistake, one of the patch previews for Patch 1.0.9e was released instead of the finished version, resulting in various things breaking up or not working as intended (especially the AI file). This patch will fix these issues.
1.0.9g Changelog
AFRICANS
  • Zulu Youths are now affected by Town Bell, meaning they can now go hide on nearby garrisonable buildings then the bell is rung.

ANGLOPHONES
  • The Militia now deals +0.8 bonus damage against cavalry.
  • The American Zouave now has +2 ranged attack (from 10 to 12).
  • The Whitworth's gunner now has a proper texture.

ASIANS
  • The bug that prevented the Japanese Monks from gathering more resources from treasures after sending the "Mountain Warrior" card has been fixed.

LATIN AMERICANS
  • Corvettes should be now able to train Carbineers, Bacamarteers and most of the unique Latin American units (Horse Grenadier, Llanero, Montonera, etc.).
  • The Colombian Tent Barracks cannot be deleted anymore.

IMMIGRANTS
  • The bug that made the Polish Immigrant improvement "Resurrectionist Congregation" unable to decrease the cost of Catholic religious improvements has been fixed.

NATIVES
  • All African Commodity improvements have been disabled for now.

RANDOM MAPS
  • The bug that made the Okapi texture not appear properly has been fixed.

RELIGION
  • The bug that made made all Religions enable all Faith and Priest upgrades has been fixed.
  • The following religious improvements have been disabled as they're not working as intended:
    • Astrology (Shamanism);
    • Moksha (Hinduism);
    • Tithe (Baptist).
  • The Lutheran religious improvement "Catechism" now enables Pied Noirs, Pilgrims and Trossen at the Chapel for the French, Americans and Habsburgs, respectively.
  • The Lutheran religious improvement "Pietism" now properly decreases the Coin and Faith cost of Priests by 50%.
  • The Kalki (enabled by the Hindu improvement "Kalkiyaavatar") now has a proper voiceset.

Give the black riders (reiters) dragoon of Habsburg the classic 0.5 bonus against villagers

I've got the "could not compile" IA error since the last patch... I tried reinstalling the whole game from steam and downloading again and doesn't work. Got no error in 1.09d

Has the AI lag been fixed or will that come later? Is it just from the new civs or from any? ie can I play against the vanilla factions without lag?

ah, wait. Can you check the HC card that send 2 Warhut travois and increase Warhut hitpoint, i afraid that this HC Card doesn't increase HP for iroquois Warhut. DOTN...
also are all building (maybe except dock and Trading post) spawn unit when destroyed (depend on civ on used like what it introduced in WOL) ?
1: Russia: Winter effect
2: Colombia: Guerilla unit
3: Iroquois: natural Resources
4: Ethiopian: bowmen (note: only medium sized building and only used after sending a HC Card named "Punitive Expedition")
Another bad news that i have seen this post but it's not mentioned is the Italian HC Card "Fillioque" make chinese passive ability that convert defeated treasure guardian or enemies to disciple become useless. I don't ask about it again.

Nice to see this! Hopefully I will be able to join the tournament (but I fear I will have exams).
What I would like to know: why did the Bulgarian cavalry change from heavy to light? I know it was counter-intuitive that a ranged cavalry is heavy, but won't the Bulgarian army be heavily countered by skirmishers now (since they counter heavy infantry and light cavalry)?

We have released a hotfix to the hotfix to the coldfix, numbered 1.0.9f, that should fix all issues that were experienced yesterday!

To obtain it, just re-run the updater or download the manual install version at the WoL Updates thread!

So, Colombians still cannot train Carabinner from the Corvette?

Just updated the game and checked, not they cannot train it :/ nor Bacamarteer viewtopic.php?f=9&t=678&start=30

By the way, I love Fisheries, thanks for that :3 are really really useful
