Maybe if it has two versions and it becames the other version at capital age?

I know there is function that transforms units into others (like the fellah into naffatun the mod had), but I don't think it will work for buildings. Problem is, buildings that are "spawned" (the function most probably deletes the unit and spawns another one in the place) spawn as foundations, not as buildings.

Well it works with triggers. look ( mutation arena TAD Scenario )

australian had a card that transform all outposts to churches(makes not sense for me )but fact
