Peruvian Huascar

Thu Jun 14, 2018 3:15 am

Hello everyone. Recently, I have google Peruvian Huascar and I found out that the Huascar is a ironclad-type warship, but in the game, it's a monitor.
Wiki link :  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hu%C3%A1scar_(ironclad)

Are you planing to change it or just leave it like now ?

It was labelled as a Monitor probably due to its Spanish name, "el Monitor Huáscar".
I second that, it should be modified.

the huascar was a monitor, the thing is that the real life the monitors were a type of ironclad, here it would be more a problem of the base game, the dilemma is to reflect it as a monitor, as in real life although the monitor is not historically accurate or as an ironclad that would be more accurate but less congruent with the game.

I personally think it would be better if I were an ironclad, for the simple fact that it would be more unique.

maybe we modified this unique ship act as monitor and frigate
-> fire a monitor shell in long range (has minimum ranged attack)
-> fire a basic canon shell (like frigate attack animation)
ESP: Sin amor, el mundo se hundirá en la guerra
POR: Sem amor, o mundo afundará na guerra
ENG: Without love, the world will sink in war

I agree with that, with an Ironclad look it will be more unique.
Regular Monitors can be trained by Peruvians, so an Ironclad look for their Huascar will make it more distinctive.
