the moon

Sun Jan 28, 2018 9:03 pm

why is the moon in WoL if the game takes place in the 19th and 20th century? (XVII depending on the player's imagination).

So that people with apparently no imagination like you will complain about it.

As if everything else in the mod was fully historical and lacking any inexplicable silliness.

I already knew this story because I love Júlio Verne and I thought that game was realistic because of that I asked was that.

It is not because the game takes place in the centuries of the modern era that it has to be all realistic! all games as historically correct as they are always have some fiction in them.

To complete the answer, I would say Moon map is also here for fun, as Deathly Hollows, Winter Wonder and Thanksgiving map are.
Wars of Liberty : a funny competitive game !
Watch your back, Iroquois are comming back !

unfortunately, there's something wrong in this map that it isn't available... maybe next patch this map will be used....

@Pepp is correct, the inspiration was Jules Verne. And yes, it does fall into the set of 'fun' maps with others like Hollows, Ecruteak, and Bermuda Triangle. Worth noting that Christmas and Thanksgiving are ES maps rather than WoL maps, and I personally have never been a fan of them :/
