Modding and Age of Empires IV

What's your feelings about it? Do you guys think we'll be able to mod this one, knowing that almost all Relic games are not modifiable?
I know the game won't say "Hello World!" before quite some time, but meh :-p
Personally, I am secretly wishing that we can develop mods on this game. WoL has seen such a great success that I cannot imagine the team being inactive for even just one month ;)

You are not responsible for the head you have but you are responsible for the mouth you make.

It means nothing more than what he's saying. We don't know anything about either the Definitive Editions or AoE4 yet, and therefore we can't plan ahead about what we'll do when they come out, until they come out. Since we don't know either what formats the files will use or whether they will even support modding, there's no point speculating about it now. The most likely outcome in any scenario, however, is that we'll just stick to modding the original game. It's not like it will become unplayable when these new versions come out.

This is a pretty pointless topic.

This is the post office, so it is uh... intended to be pointless, I guess...
